In Tijuana
when you're in a hurry to get a coiled circuit switch with a pause
you might say "on delay." When your circuit doesn't switch after it and your PTO are due, your boss might say "off delay." When a bartender hands a barmaid a tray out of the freezer, it might be an ice cube relay. When penguins hop from one berg to another, it might be a solid state relay. When a saxophonist needs a bit of help from his fellow, it might involve a reed relay. In ancient China, a series of fire towers sent warning of imminent invasion; an example of an early optical relay. If het up with your apartment neighbor you might blow hot air at 'em via a ventilator thermal relay. "I dos" at the altar are a type of latching relay. If a lab keeps spitting out Planck size objects, it might drooly be a quantum relay. An EMT radioing vitals to a doctor usually includes a pulse relay. An athlete bragging about wins in a vault and two wrestling matches might say "single pole, double throw today." If a surfer eschews Z-wave, no matter how erudite his news, he may never have a smart relay. |
